Wiki Article

Independence Day is a day that is celebrated to mark the celebration of 75 years of independence with the nation. It has been more than seven decades since we won our independence from British rule and in these seventy-five years, we have seen many changes and achievements.

There are many things to be thankful for and there are also some challenges that we still need to overcome. This day should be a time for us to celebrate our freedom and reaffirm what really matters most - peace, dialogue, tolerance, and respect for each other

The "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" is being celebrated all over India today. It was on this day in 1947 that India attained independence, ending years of British rule.

It's been more than 75 years since our country won its freedom, and we still celebrate this day with joy and happiness.

This is a holiday that is celebrated with immense pride and patriotism by every Indian citizen.

Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav (The Festival of Freedom) is an event and day for people to remember the sacrifices made by their ancestors and to rejoice in their freedom.

India has come a long way since its independence in 1947. It has achieved self-reliance and peace within the country. The Indian economy is developing at a faster rate today than ever before and the country is progressing towards a developed nation.

The first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru gave a speech on 15th August 1947 which resonated with Indians for generations to come. He said: "At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom."

Not only did he talk about his vision for India but also outlined his hopes for that it would become a strong nation. He said: “We must make our goal not just physical prosperity but also intellectual and spiritual progress”

Nevertheless, we should not forget the sacrifices of the freedom fighters and soldiers who fought hard for freedom. Because of only their struggle and sacrifices we are living with peace and happiness. As our Prime Minister has said,

The Azadi Amrit Mahotsav means elixir of energy of independence; elixir of inspirations of the warriors of the freedom struggle; elixir of new ideas and pledges; and an elixir of Aatmanirbhar Bharat. Therefore, this Mahotsav is a festival of an awakening of the nation; the festival of fulfilling the dream of good governance; and the festival of global peace and development.

To be a developed nation does not mean that a country only cares about itself, but pledging for global peace and development is the true meaning and essence of a truly developed nation.

We at Zoop salute & honor this commitment and wish our countrymen a most joyful, patriotic Independence Day.
